Next Monthly Meeting

Thirty years in punk rock as the singer of multiple touring bands has taught Greg Bennick a thing or two about frustration and channeling energy in positive directions.

Join Seattle NACE on January 8, 2019 and listen to Greg share his insights, and give a perspective on life, business, and frustration. Greg will ask us to consider some simple notions: frustration is fuel and our own minds are powerful enough to define our future. If we let frustration get the best of us, we fail. If we let others define our dreams, we fail. As we begin this new year, Greg will challenge us to rediscover our clarity, focus, and passion with his Punk Rock Guide to Getting Things Done.

Community Service Opportunities

Sign Up for a Food Lifeline Pack & Sort

Thursday, January 17th, 2019 6pm-8:30pm

Food Lifeline Hunger Solution Center
816 South 96th Street, Seattle, WA 98108

After the bountiful holiday months, take time to help our community by joining your NACE friends for a hands-on volunteer opportunity at Food Lifeline. We can make a huge impact by helping to sort and pack the rescued food they collect. Your whole family is welcome, including your children ages 6 and up. It is a really fun time, easy to do, and makes a big difference in the lives of so many.

Email Stefana Welker at stefana@wholeworldcatering.com to sign up today!

Volunteer Guidelines:

  • Closed-toed shoes, no exceptions.
  • It is often cold in the warehouse. For your comfort, please dress in warm layers.
  • Your work will be physical in nature and includes long periods of standing. You may be asked to lift up to 40lbs.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early and plan to work the full session.

Look what fun our NACE volunteers had on our most recent Pack & Sort on 12/27! Thank you Amanda, Monica, Nems, and Stefana (and family)!
